Event Rules, Resolution & Safety
Event rules
Each event should define its question, outcomes, closing time, resolution conditions and reliable sources. Detail-page rules take priority over the title. Ambiguous events may be paused while clarification is added.
Resolution
After closing, results follow the stated rules and public sources. Conflicting sources, cancellation or an unverifiable outcome may require delayed resolution, cancellation or another pre-stated treatment, with corrections recorded.
Data transparency
- Polymarket events use public Polymarket data; volume appears only when reliable data is available.
- Platform-event reference probabilities and system activity are not real user bets or trading volume.
- Probabilities are for information and research, not guarantees or financial advice.
Account safety
Use a strong password and protect verification codes. Never share passwords, private keys or seed phrases. Verify the domain before signing in or transferring funds and stop immediately if anything looks suspicious.
